Summary
The Justice League is shocked when Batman kills a man during a mission. They’re even more shocked when the Batfamily doesn’t bat an eye. It turns out Gotham’s moral code isn’t as pure as outsiders thought. This was supposed to focus on the JL and the batfam about the nonexistent no kill rule but I find that I am physically incapable of writing a dc fic that involves the Batfam without completely focusing on Damian.

Wow.
This fully strayed from the summary but wowww
Damian’s struggles in school felt real, and I feel like I never really considered how harmful the American education system actually is until now. I was so so happy when he went to the first new school, but then it ended up sucking and I was really able to empathize with his character how he was written. (Wows life is going so goods for Damian!!! I says with joys. I was then shot 57 times.)
This portrayal of depression was also excellently written, and felt so meaningful. I am glad that Damian was able to finally be free from school and responsibility, and that he finally has room to expand and be himself.
