It was way too early for Ena’s liking, not having enough time to do all of her makeup, or her hair properly. But she was spending time with everyone, that’s what mattered. At least that was what she was telling herself. Then Ena saw Mizuki’s shit eating grin. Mizuki’s teasing never stopped, even when they were all together. Ena had her usual mood, she was not so happy about the teasing. Mizuki had their signature smug look, Ena having woken up a bit earlier, her hair slightly messy. She runs her fingers over it, trying to smooth it out.
“Stupid fucking hair,” The small grumble coming from Ena quietly.
“Enanan you’re so cranky!” There’s a small chuckle from Mizuki, her smile wide and smug as ever.
“Maybe you’re a bitch,” Ena retorted, her arms crossed. Mizuki had been making comments on her shirt for the festival.

It was the summer of last year. The night had finally arrived to offer its quiet embrace as she slipped into bed feeling fulfilled. It was a productive day. She had posted a selfie earlier, but she didn’t have the time to check for interactions throughout the day like usual.
It wasn’t like the picture was risqué or anything. Sure, the top was cut a little lower than her usual shirts, and okay, maybe she’d subtly pushed up her chest for the photo. But honestly, sue her. Girls did that kind of thing all the time. It’s not like people actually pay attention to that kind of stuff!
Or so she thought.
Until she found a reply.
A reply with double the likes her photo had gotten.
It simply read:
“Why are you pushing up so hard? Don’t worry girl we can see them!”
…What?
(Or, Mizuki and Ena have a miscommunication over an argument online, eventually leading to an unlikely “friendship”.)
