Summary
Edgar Allan Poe, an aspiring mystery author, is told that if he ever wants to make it in the writing industry, he needs to make his works descriptive enough to be believable. The only problem is, Poe is blind. So he does the only thing he can think of: he enlists the help of a private detective, Edogawa Ranpo, to help him learn how to describe a crime scene. However, to his surprise, the said detective turns out to be deaf. How will Poe learn how to communicate with the stubborn detective, and what will happen if he ends up falling for him along the way?

“I wanted to know what you liked.” He realized how that sounded a second later. “Not just in a -like- sexual way, also in general. I-” Regulus slapped a hand over his mouth.
“As adorable as it is to see you nervous,” He pushed himself onto his knees on the bed, free hand finding James’s shoulder. “I’d rather you just put what you learned to use.”
If James squeaked, no one but Regulus would ever know.
OR
James and Sirius took Regulus into their apartment after he was disowned. After a while, he walks into the home to see James, the person he's been seeking comfort from, using a duplication charm on his collection of smut novels.
