Summary
Concept from a Tumblr post about Hizashi and Shouta hating each other and Oboro being the middle ground.
Yamada Hizashi didn't particularly care about becoming a hero. He was only there so he could talk legally without someone bitching to him about using his quirk illegally. He worked a job outside of school to help his "parents" make ends meet and help out his little sisters, but it wasn't like he went to lengths to behave or anything.
Aizawa Shouta had rich parents who were members of the Hero Commision, and he would do anything to become a hero. Yeah, there had been a bit of cheating into the Hero course because he flunked the entrance exam, but hey, he was actually participating (kinda), besides he had his best friend from middle school by his side, Shirakumo Oboro.
Unfortunately, they really needed help getting their grades up. The best bet was to go for the smartest kid in the class. Who happened to be a delinquent who hated heroes. And left school before noon everyday. Oh, and Shouta hated the guy, and the guy hated him.

Summary
Kurogiri was a villain. Though he hadn't commit a single crime, that was basic knowledge to him. But there were echoes. Feelings that made no sense. But he followed the life that had been given to him.
Until Master entrusted a child into his care, and shards of a life that wasn't his started attacking him. So he took little Tomura and ran. He felt wrong being there any longer.
An AU in which Kurogiri's construction wasn't perfect and seeing Tenko starts to unlock memories of his life as Oboro. The facade of smoke starts to come free and more pieces start coming together. So he takes Tenko and runs when he's five before All For One can truly corrupt either of them. He sees someone he feels like he recognizes and decides he has to. It's his only choice anymore, what with being chased.

It's a great idea to make connections in America, so they go along with it.
They're also the only two in the class fluent in English but that probably doesn't have anything to do with it.
