“You know me,” The Boy said quietly, swallowing back the roughness of his voice. He didn’t speak often, so he barely recognized his own voice, but he pushed past it and cleared his throat. “You- you called me Deku. Is… is that my name?”
There was a long silence where red stared into green. The Boy could hear the questions in the other’s mind, could feel them pressing against his own like they were trying to figure him out, trying to determine if this was a trap or not. After a long moment, the blonde heaved a sigh and his eyes turned down in sadness. Grief?
