Mydei's father is murdered and he is set to inheret one of his legacies - the Chrysos Asylum, lauded as the most humane asylum. But what secrets does this place keep and how many is connected back to the monster that haunts his dreams?
The monster was in front of him – sometimes with mangled wings trying to cocoon him, other times bathed in gold laughing and crying hysterically, and so many more variations. But this time…this time it is behind bars with chains protected by different forms of seals bounding its outstretched arms on the left and right, and its body upright.
It raises its head and Mydei tries to memorize his godly face. It gives him a deplorable smirk before it speaks.
“You’re back here again.”
“I am.” (Why?)
“Won’t you come closer? Won’t you breathe closer?” Its expression turns manic. “Won’t you love this monster?”
