Summary
Caelus keeps on dreaming of Nanook. Of the searing energy that flows into his body as a mark, a claim. Those dreams are always weird, but who knew that such dreaming could lead to such horrible chest pain.
He was shocked that, instead of dying, a culmination of energy came from his chest, from his Stellaron, and formed a child. His child. With The Destruction. Caelus is lost on what to do with this. It doesn't help that it's glaringly obvious who contributed the other half of the genes.
It's even worse when Nanook's Emanators get involved. Now Caelus is trying to figure out how to navigate everything new without breaking down.
Sequel to Destructive Hatred (Destructive Obsession). Would recommend reading that before reading this.

Summary
Nanook and Lan do not have the level of hostility for each other that Lan and Yaoshi have for each other, but that doesn't mean that Lan doesn't wish to put an arrow through Nanook. Recently though, there have been some new things to consider.
Nanook has taken an interest in the Stellaron vessel that they don't understand, and Lan isn't going to watch a mortal's life be toyed with for the sake of sating a fellow Aeon's curiosity. Lan is going to have to stake a claim of their own to protect the mortal.
But when both of them keep fighting to lay claim to Caelus, how will both of them handle each other without tearing Caelus apart?

Nous is curious about Caelus. And being an Aeon that is meant to solve questions about the universe, Nous analyzes Caelus and who he is as a person.
But Caelus isn't completely predictable and each new thing The Erudition learns has them wanting to know more about how complex humans can be.
Perhaps Caelus can be the one they test these complexities with... Not that he has a choice.

Lan didn't care for Caelus at first. Why would they care when they seek to hunt down The Abundance and kill them and their abominations?
But the more attention Lan pays Caelus, the deeper they fall in. Until Lan comes to a startling conclusion.
If Lan desires Caelus, then they'll hunt him down and claim him as theirs.
