During Sebastian’s first day away from Ferrari, Charles thought he might die. They’d never really talked, but Sebastian had been an unending presence in meetings. Charles hadn’t noticed Sebastian’s sly glances whenever Binotto said something particularly outrageous until they were gone.
Charles hadn’t realized how those glances had saved him from screaming or bursting into tears whenever the Ferrari heads said something so brutally insensitive he thought he might cry.
