Touya stared at the glass in front of him. Whiskey, he believed, but the label had been worn off the bottle. His lips were pressed into a firm line, unable to find a way to actually express his discomfort. Akito wasn’t wrong, he knew that, but he still didn’t want to. Akito, at his side, tilted his head.

He bared his teeth, salivating beyond his control. His head was spinning. He hated the taste of human flesh. He hated the taste of any meat. He didn't want to do this. His mind knew he didn’t want to do this. He felt disgusted. He wanted to vomit. But his body moved without his mind. He was starving. His teeth dug right into the man's flesh, tearing a full chunk out, almost larger than what he could fit in his own mouth. It bled, like a fine piece of meat. Like a perfectly rare steak. Akito brought his arms back to him to rip the piece apart, to chew, to swallow. He needed this. He was starving.

The display on the clock read just about 2:05. Giorno was still sitting on the couch, he couldn’t even recall what time he had sat down. All he really knew was that it was concerningly late, and fugo wasn’t home. Giorno silently made himself a promise that if fugo wasn’t home in at least 25 minutes, he would go looking for him.

..A sharp, cold pain spread through Fugos body. He fell to the floor as if he was a pen being dropped off a desk. His brain went numb as seconds passed by. A cold, unforgiving fog overtook his memory. The wound he received had paralyzed his body immediately. It probably pierced his spine, was what Fugo had thought. As time passed, Fugo felt each of his senses slowly numb. Every piece of his body slowly being overcome by a cold static. Fugo held a thoughtless hope of being saved, but he knew by second nature that he would be left to rot.

Giorno looked away for a moment, back to the sunrise. He took a long breath inwards, as if he truly had to think about what he was going to say. Giorno had always had a way with his words, he could bring peace to anyone’s mind with only a sentence. Then he Exhaled.

Fugo laughed, just a bit. It was pure and truly innocent, almost as if everything in the past had faded, just for the sake of the moment.
“Is there anything you could ask of me that I could ever decline?”
