Summary
Decay was a disease manifesting itself inside a God, we don't know what it can do, but it is contagious. It hasn't yet spread due to said gods efforts, but it's only so long until it infects everyone.
In short, poptart wasn't having a good time. At all. He had a new terrible disease, his hallucinations and nightmares were getting worse, he hasn't interacted with anyone in months, and he was taking far too much starvation damage a second. You really wouldn't look at him and think this was the most powerful entity inside existance, but looks can be deceiving.
