“It’s quite the opposite, actually. I’ve come to help you,” Alastor said, as if it wasn’t the most ridiculous thing Vox had ever heard.
“How stupid do you think I am?”
“Exceedingly so,” Alastor smirked and Vox scowled. He’d walked right into that one.
Alastor held up his hands in a sassy, little shrug. “But as I told you earlier, you helped me break a chain that’s been a thorn in my side for a very long time. So I believe I owe you more than a simple thank you. Look, I even brought you a gift.”

Vox is forced to deal with the consequences of his failed takeover of Heaven in the worst way he can imagine. Being left alone with his own thoughts. Thankfully, his arch rival and old crush Alastor shows up to distract him.

After one of the countless altercations between Valentino and Vox, Valentino goes after Velvette. This was the last straw for Vox and he leaves, taking the young influencer with him.
Only after does he realize he has no one to turn to but the Radio Demon himself.

Summary
Vox is tired of being alone. He's the leader of the Vees and the CEO of the biggest company in hell, but this is just a lie. Valentino is the one actually in charge, and Vox is incapable of standing for himself because he can't bear the idea of yet another partner leaving him.
After an argument with Val, Vox finds himself accepting a strange proposal from his worst enemy, Alastor himself: his soul and obedience in exchange for - happiness. Alastor promises to make Vox experience a joy he had never known before if he just accepts to do anything the Radio Demon asks.
A trick, of course. Alastor's cruelty is infamous in every corner of hell.
It can't be real.
