Summary
Kim Minjae has been defining himself by the ways that he compares to others for so long that he's forgotten to figure out who he is. He wants to be great, so of course he thinks that he wants to be just like the embodiment of greatness he walks past in the halls every day at KQ Entertainment.
Kim Hongjoong doesn't know how to tell the Xikers leader that there are better things to want than to want to be like Hongjoong, and there are better things to be known for than to be known as a shadow of someone else. He hasn't slept in two days, and he's too stressed to make it coherent, but he tries to tell Minjae anyway.

Anyone who fostered teenagers were liars; they weren’t bringing them into a forever family. Teenagers were all layover kids. Nice, quick stops on the journey to their real destination. Suitable for a short time, but not forever. For the longest time, Hitoshi had believed that those words were all bitter sentiments, not based in reality.
Until he became one."
Or, Present Mic and Aizawa bring Eri into their family. Hitoshi does not take it well.

Art is a beautiful stress-reliever, always such an impressive little talent, and something good always comes out of it. Something beautiful. A painting, maybe, or a pencil sketch that somehow manages to make a piece of paper that much brighter. Art is, generally speaking, a socially acceptable coping mechanism.
Except when it isn’t. Because society always draws the line somewhere, and Hitoshi always manages to stand one step ahead of it.
Or: Hitoshi decides to vandalize a building, only to be caught by his English and 1-C homeroom teacher, Present Mic.
