Summary
Sand was confused, every time he met Ray he had these strange and intense flashbacks. Memories of places and people he didn't know, of things he didn't experience.
He was a teenager in high school again, except he was filled with more anxiety and fear than Sand knew. The difference was, this version of him had someone to rely on, to hold the broken pieces of him together until they fused into one again. And this savior looked suspiciously like Ray.

Summary
Ray has been in love with Mew for as long as she can remember. Mew was her reason for living when Ray saw no point in it.
Ray always held out hope that Mew was her soulmate but she wasn't sure of it. Ray had never truly felt her soulbond and was unsure of how it had presented, Mew was in a similar situation to her and so she could never say with certainty Mew wasn't her soulmate.
That was until Mew met Top and Ray's world tilted on an axis. Mew's soulbond was tangible, as soon as Mew and Top locked eyes the change began to occur and Ray saw how the markings on their skin formed.
Some people were born with identical markings on their skin to tie them together, but in a case like with Mew, it formed upon meeting your soulmate so that there was no doubt whether or not it was coincedence or fate.
And as Mew's body went through a change, so did Ray's as she felt what was left of her heart shatter in her chest.
Unbeknownst to Ray, there was someone across the room who felt the echoes of her pain with clear precision.

Summary
Gulf was born without the ability to speak. He was mute in short, he longed to be able to call out for Mew and have the relief of a long loud cry, or the joy of laughter but unfortunately it wasn't possible for him.
Mew was born without the ability to hear. He was deaf, he always wished to hear the voices of people he loved, the sound of their laughter, to know when they cried so he could offer comfort, but he just couldn't.
Fate allowed Mew and Gulf's worlds to come crashing into one another.
When Gulf was with Mew, he never longed to speak. He knew that even if he had the ability, Mew would never be able to hear it and so the thought of wanting to speak faded away and he enjoyed the freedom.
When Mew was with Gulf, he never thought of hearing, the love of his life couldn't release the sound of laughter or tears and so it would make no difference whether he could hear or not and it was liberating to push the thought of hearing to the back of his mind.
They had completely opposite problems and yet it worked. Gulf was the ears Mew needed and Mew was the voice that Gulf needed, they completed each other.
The language in which they communicated; love.
