Summary
Hi, this is a collection of Death and his interactions with the people he has to collect/encounter on his travels through the Disc :D
I mainly used this as practice for writing dialogue so it isn't very action heavy. -

Summary
A creature roams the streets, it is small and dirty.
Its long fur is tangled into mats and it flinches from the roaring cars, memories of cold and putrid water spraying onto it coming to mind.
Padding gently along the side of the road it leaves no more than a small impression in muddied parts of the walkway.
Chitters and screeches come from its maw and people swerve around it, sparing a few glances and wincing away at the unbecoming sight.
There is a collar around the creature's neck, covered with loose threads and dyed a solid blue. A small bell that is rusty and no longer sings aloud with every movement dances along the fabric.
A name is engraved onto a metal bone, it spells out letters that the animal cannot read.
The scene is reminiscent of a corpse that has been forgotten and is now unrecognisable, the only difference seeming to be that this one is still alive. If only barely.
Or, Feral!Tim getting adopted by Jason as RedHood au :)

Summary
The floors are white. There is no hint of the previous room that had concrete floors that were sprayed with ice cold water and doused with his own blood.
The floors are white and they are vinyl and that is the most beautiful thing that he has seen in a long, long time.
Or, The aftermath of Tim being captured and tortured and turned into Joker Junior! Read first work in series for a better understanding :)

Summary
He isn’t sure how long he has retreated into his mind for. It’s long enough that distinguishing the walls of his room between the walls of his thoughts have grown hard.
Laughter echoes down the halls and worms its way into his head. He doesn’t know if it’s real or not.
His lips are chapped and broken and his body is worn and scarred. Ribs jut out of his body and threaten to pierce skin with their sharp edges.
In some other world he supposes that this should be wrong. That the floor should be a nice white and the walls should have windows and maybe, maybe even the Joker should not exist.
It all means nothing in the end. Because Junior cannot leave this world. He has tried and failed and been punished.
Ironically it all seems like a joke. A strange, peculiar, mean joke that is being played on him.
The lights hum with their usual intensity. Fluorescent and a dull yellow, they mimic what the sun could be. Maybe the Joker chose them for that. Maybe he didn’t.
He doesn’t think there's an end to this joke yet, the punchline is still being thought of and the audience is waiting eagerly, ready to laugh at his eventual demise.
