Summary
These are going to be stories centered around Jay and focusing on his relationship with Hailey and Will. Summaries will be at the start of each chapter and any warnings will be placed at the start of the chapter. There isn't any violence, the only real warning will be one sex scene between Jay and Hailey. These are pretty mild, especially compared to what I write.

Paramedics were hurrying along, Will saw fluid bags and bloodstained gauze, and beneath a mask, bruised and pale and horribly still, his baby brother.

7x10 "Mercy" fix-it because I just watched the episode yesterday and I can't believe they brushed this whole thing off so easily. The CPD is family, and yet the episode focused almost exclusively on Hailey. It wouldn't have hurt to make this into more of a crossover. So this story is just a small fix-it for myself, featuring other characters and most importantly Will Halstead. -

“We found her.”
It doesn’t hit him, at first, what that means. The implication of those words echoing somewhere behind Jay, lost in the mechanical rigidness that had marked his movements for the past few days.
“I… what?”
Jay hears himself asking, and the words feel foreign and rough, catching in his throat as he attempts to string them together. His body already registering, what his mind hasn’t yet.
... ... ...
A sting goes wrong.
Eleven days later... and Jay is still dealing with the aftermath.

Summary
Life isn’t fair.
Will knows that all too well.
Trying to make it a little more fair is how he ended up here. With charges on his record for stealing clinical trial drugs from the hospital where he worked, and distributing them illegally to an unapproved patient.Alternate universe where everyone's lives are going a little (or a lot) worse than canon, and Will finds his brother again under less than ideal circumstances.
