Aeri laughs, leaning back against the sofa's backrest, the movement of her thighs jostling Minjeong.
Jimin chuckles and playfully ruffles Minjeong's hair before getting up.

If Jihyo had Sana’s status, she’d work damn hard to keep it. She wouldn’t let it pull wool over her eyes. She can’t afford to lose, especially not now, especially not when Ferrari’s managed to put together a car that’s competitive enough to hold it’s own. Her new race engineer is competent enough. Their pit crew is quicker than they’ve ever been. Ferrari isn’t all bad – Sana is just one problem, one little thorn in her side.
They drive the same car. Clearly, someone on the team thought Jihyo could match Sana’s driving style. Even if Sana, in all her holy Tifosi benevolence, disagreed. Intense, that had been how Sana described Jihyo’s first test ride in the sim back in the Maranello factory. She’s too hungry for this. It’s not going to end well.
Jihyo signs a one year contract with Scuderia Ferrari for the 2025 Formula One season after spending four years in a back-marker team. Her teammate is her former childhood idol, Minatozaki Sana. The chip in Jihyo's shoulder does not make this easy for anyone.

Minjeong’s movement halted at the statement. Annoyance creeping in.
“Why do you care?”
The next thing she knew, she felt a hand holding her arm, palm pressing lightly against her elbow just where the wound was. Minjeong raised her head, trying to meet Jimin’s gaze but the latter simply ruffled her short blonde locks. Coal black eyes shut closed, not wanting the strands to poke her eyes.
“Don’t hurt yourself.”

Some kind of a freak ended up falling to Minjeong's bed (literally) from God knows where and gave her a headache more than calculus could ever do.
