The professor, once calm and composed, has gradually transformed into a grumpy, near-grandfatherly figure-something Eggsy insists is totally not his fault. Despite his unconventional methods, Eggsy is a good PhD student. But when his supervisor is kidnapped, he quickly realizes there's no time to waste. Aziraphale is a caregiver who, regardless of his attempts, cannot find a little of his own. He hosts weekly story times at his bookshop and even babysits! But it still isn't fulfilling enough. Madame Tracy recommends a care center, St. Beryl's, for him to go volunteer at. It's an inpatient center for littles who need constant care and are usually special cases, and Aziraphale feels as though he's finally found his calling, and maybe a little of his own!
Crowley is a little who refuses to take care of himself, putting his psychologist in a tricky spot. She eventually decides to admit him to St. Beryl's for inpatient care. Crowley is reluctant, and he swears to anyone that he'll do whatever it takes to get kicked out. Until he finally starts to like it (and starts to get attached to one caregiver in particular).
The tags make this fic sound very dark, I know. And yeah, there are some sadder bits, but they will always been followed up by some kind of comfort and/or fluff. I won't put these boys through the ringer too much, don't worry.
