Because it turns out the Halo can want things now, sort of. Not the way a human would, with thoughts or motivation or articulable desires. The Halo wants things the way a tree wants water and shoves a taproot through flagstone to get it, which is all well and good for the tree, but less so for the idiot trying to keep her patio intact. “Hello there” Vi chimed cheerfully. “I'm Vi Anderson, and I’m here today with my best friend and co-star-” she gestured at Caitlyn to finish introductions.
“Caitlyn Kiramman” Caitlyn said with a soft chuckle, while turning towards the camera. “You may recognize us from the tv series ‘Piltover ER’.”
Vi gave a confident nod. “But today, we're not here to solve the next medical mystery. Instead, we’re here to take part in the Wired Autocomplete Interview!”
“I’m actually nervous” Caitlyn admitted while Vi received her cardboard list.
“Wait, are you really?” Vi asked curiously, while reaching out to place a thumb on Caitlyn’s wrist – measuring her pulse.
Several seconds later, she turned to the camera with a shocked expression. “Her heart is beating so fast, you guys”Caitlyn chuckled softly. “That’s because you’re touching me, darling” she teased playfully.
