James’s voice softens. ‘You don’t have to say it. I know.’
Sirius lets out a long breath, almost a laugh. ‘I’m obvious huh?’
‘I just know you.’ James runs a hand through his hair and looks up to the stairs leading to their dorms where Remus is likely asleep. ‘I know the both of you.’---
James and Peter have had enough. Their friends are miserable, obviously in love, and far too stubborn (or stupid) to do anything about it. So, like any self-respecting pranksters, they hatch a plan: nudge (okay, shove) Sirius and Remus into confessing before the pining kills them all.
But Sirius has other problems. He’s finally ready to reach out to Regulus, only he can’t figure out how to do it without getting hexed into next week. So he does the unthinkable: asks Remus for help.
Two half-baked plans. One emotionally constipated werewolf. One reckless runaway heir. A mess of secrets, letters, and feelings just waiting to blow.
Oh, and something dark is brewing down in the Slytherin common room. And the war outside is starting to seep into Hogwarts.
What could possibly go wrong?
(Camera pans to Lily and Peter, shaking their heads from the sidelines.)
