“And you're sure you advertised it?” Uma asks, leaning around Gil to look Harry in the eye. The three of them are standing at the designated meeting spot for the event. In fact, they are the only ones standing in the designated meeting spot for the event.
“Of course I advertised it! I had Gil help me put up posters and everythin’!”
“And where, exactly, did you put up these posters?”
“Ye know,” Harry says, unconvincingly, “around.”
“And did you ask anybody in person?”
“Sure- loads of people.”
She waits a beat before prompting. “And?”
He shrugs. “I said I asked.”
