Summary
It’s almost three months since Edwin left Port Townsend. Three months of mourning Niko, of watching Charles and Crystal grow ever closer, and three months of being unable ignore that London is a city full of cats.
Three months since he admitted to the Cat King that he was lonely.
Can an accidental trip back to Port Townsend help with that loneliness? Can a shared understanding build into friendship, and even into something more? -

Summary
Please don’t walk away, he thinks desperately at the ghost’s retreating back. Don’t flay me open and just leave! He can’t (won’t) stop Edwin, he’s imprisoned him once and he won’t do it again. The ghost paid in full for his misdemeanour and Thomas is a fair and consensual Cat King.
It’s like he’s heard Thomas’ plea though because Edwin stops in his tracks and turns in a neat little spin, face unreadable.

Summary
He hasn't looked at the lines in a long time.
He hasn't really needed to; everything was long ago recreated and transcribed and annotated into his notebook, down to the last letter and sketch and memory. And thank every god for that; Charles never would have been able to find him in Hell otherwise.
Rolling up his sleeve, Edwin examines the lines winding up his right forearm. These were the very first — a multi-cornered path, Right-left-left.A basically canon-compliant "what if Edwin has secret tattoos" + some post-canon Catwin where Edwin talks about the tattoos and has a lot of emotions about it.

Summary
“Well now,” the Cat King says, and that clever smile is clear in his voice. “That is quite a serious accusation you’re leveraging against me. I consider myself quite a devoted king, after all, and to more than just my subjects.” He winks, over the top and ostentatious, and Edwin steadfastly refuses to look.
“Perhaps you should be getting back to them, in that case.” As they walk, Edwin is aware of the solid impact of the Cat King’s boots on the sidewalk, the way it has so much more force behind it than his own intangible steps. Everything about the man feels real in a way that Edwin never has, and he carefully does not look at the way the leather skirt moves around the Cat King’s thighs.
He is getting distracted.

Summary
An unfamiliar cat steps delicately toward the throne, lanky and silver-grey with bright green eyes and sharply pointed ears. Thomas hums consideringly as he looks the new arrival over from nose to tail. “You’re new to town. Come to pay your respects?” He grins, sharp and fierce. “Smart move. We’re pretty laid-back around here, but I do like it when I get the appropriate deference.”
The grey cat flicks his ears, amusement in his eyes. “Come now, don't you recognize me?” he says in a teasing tone, tail high and twitching playfully. “It’s barely been a week since my last visit. Surely you haven’t forgotten me already.”
Thomas stares in wide-eyed shock because he doesn’t know this cat but he does know that voice. “Edwin? What the fuck happened to you?”
