Summary
Arthur and Merlin have angered a sorcerer Arthur had been sent to arrest for treason. As a result they now have a magically conjured creature after them.
When they are eventually confronted, Merlin is left with a split second decision to make sure Arthur is safe, even when the prince is right there with him.

Summary
Merlin is kidnapped by an unknown person and when he returns, he's different. Gaius soon finds out the cause. A very dangerous and powerful snake species, able to influence even the mind of the greatest sorcerer to ever walk the earth. Luckily, there is a way to halt its control. Arthur and Merlin set out for a quest to kill the mother beast of the Fomorroh while it's tranquilized so they can protect Camelot from King Cenred and Morgause.
Meanwhile, Guinevere and Morgana try to stop what looks like an impossible fate falling on Merlin, as the Kingdom is in for another threat...
