Or, the days (months) before, during, and after that fateful trial that would change Fontaine and her people forever. While Neuvillette deserves a hug and a break, Furina most definitely needs a hug and a therapist. Wriothesley gets dragged into something more surreal than he could ever imagine, but at least he gets to be a father now. And have a beautiful dragon in his bed. What more could he want?

Because he doesn’t recognize these buildings. Their construction is—weird. A degree off of what he considers normal. Blue roofs. White stone. Cobbled streets. The most handsome man he’s ever seen in cosplay—except he’s starting to think Neuvillette isn’t cosplaying at all and that he, Wriothesley, is having a mental break.

Summary
The thought of a small fledgeling so very in their own likeness, is a bittersweet thing. Neuvillette had mourned the centuries of his life once, stretched out endlessly into the past and future, shrouded in the shadows of isolation, but now, with Wriothesley, hope blooms in his chest; a pleasant, heavy warmth.
Wriothesley has offered him an immortality that few may find; shared and ever changing. It is a blessing to have an eternity to look forward to. To want. To choose.
- Wriothesley and Neuvilette navigate their relationship in the aftermath of the Prophecy’s fulfilment. One thing they both had not prepared for, was caring for a dragon’s heat cycle along with the reformation of a new Fontaine.
