Hello everyone. I wanted to write a Keith fanfiction so bad and I am basing this fic on a dream I had. This takes place after the Paladins return to Earth. Aka around season six. The premise of the dream is that you're working with the Galaxy Garrison, you've been working for a year before Sam Holt comes back to Earth, so you know the others pretty well. You're more of a loner, but you like to draw, you make design ideas for space outfits, armor, ships etc. Your transmasc, you've had top surgery.

"You hid an injury." Keith was at the end of the cot, gripping the bed frame with knuckles turned white. He looked so angry his face had gone pale in places, and he trembled. His black eyes danced like hot coals in the base of a fire. "And then you took on a druid all by yourself and got yourself cursed."

Summary
Lance reaches the towel around Keith’s hips and he curls his finger, hooking it under the fluffy fabric. Keith’s breath hitches.
“I can’t… I can’t make you feel nothing,” Lance mumbles. “But I can, uh, I could make you feel good.”
Keith’s breath stutters on its way out, breaking into a million little pieces.
“I could make you feel really, really good,” Lance promises.

“Lance,” Keith tries one more time. Because here’s the thing: he wants to say yes, and –
“Keith,” Lance drawls his name just so, in that way that is so terribly Lance, so familiar, yet still intense enough to send shivers down his spine.
– and he’s, in recent years, never been good at denying Lance anything for too long.
or: Lance needs a date and Keith’s invitation got lost in the mail (or something like that! Don’t even ask!). They turn out to be really good at this whole pretending thing.
