“You can send them the link now, Mabel,” he says, still looking at his phone.
“Your shirt is soaked,” Mabel says, “oh, we’re connecting! Usually I mess it up on the first try.”
“I don’t know how.” Dipper grimaces, grabbing the spit stain on his collar, twisting it in one fist in a half-hearted attempt to dry it. “It’s not like, Grunkle Ford science.”
Dipper and Mabel chat with their Grunkles to figure out how they're gonna explain Gravity Falls and its... everything... to the twins' parents. Robert Pines tries and fails to figure out what the hell is going on. The Pines finally leave for Gravity Falls.

Or, the Pines Twins leave Gravity Falls at the end of the summer, fundamentally changed, and come back to a city where everything has stayed exactly the same. They'll need each other's support and understanding now more than ever.
