The words sounded hollow, hummed out bye a little girl with her eyebrows drawn together, eyes wide and irises smaller amidst the tears painfully bubbling out.
the kit raised her head from where she sat to see a sunburst of colour,
With orange, yellow and purple….Alongside a hint of sparkling blue that promised her peaceful slumber.
but…..when her eyes drifted down hesitantly..all she saw, was Red….Splattered across the jagged rocks that soaked up the dream willed blood that her mother once adorned.
