Harry Evans loved his sister Lily. He took being just a few minutes earlier than her very seriously in his role as a brother. Even before they were born, he always made sure his sister and mother were safe. It meant showing off his magic way too early, but he didn't care if it meant his family was safe. Growing up was an experience he never had before and was able to see a different side of Petunia Dursley nee Evans, he adored her nearly as much as his own twin. Attending Hogwarts with his sister (previously mother) was an experience in itself as he finally met his father from his previous life along with Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. Now maybe he can stop them from screwing up his and Lily's relationship with their best friend Severus. Of course, being in this time period also meant he could dismantle Voldemort before he really amassed followers, well that was just a side-effect of being born a generation early.

Summary
Severus is an omega who has long since given up on finding his mate and he considered that to be a good thing, he is old he feels every one of his thirty-eight years and then some. He has no desire to birth and raise children or care for an alpha not at this point in his life.
He longs for a quiet life which he plans to have just as soon and he fulfils his obligation to Minerva to help her reestablish the school and see the eight years through their education. It will be his last task in his vow to protect Harry Potter.
However, best-laid plans and all that...Severus discovers that life is not quite done with him when he discovers he does in fact have an alpha, he has to deal with that and all the issues that brings with it.
