Summary
Still bearing the scars from his time with Public Safety, Denji tries his hardest to get used to taking care of eight animals and a reincarnated Control Devil while also figuring out what the hell he was supposed to do when not keeping his brain too busy to think about everything he’s gone through the past year or so by killing devils or by working minimum wage.
Still bearing the scars from her time with the Soviet Union, Reze tries her hardest to get used to begrudgingly working as a devil hunter for a wounded Public Safety desperate for personnel while also figuring out what the hell she was supposed to do when tossed into general society out of ‘good behavior’ as if she wasn’t one of the worst monsters on payroll.
They meet again, somewhere in the middle.
Or: Bomb, Chainsaw, and getting used to mundanity.

Summary
There's empty spaces on his walls where medals should rightfully sit, and it seems like no one sees that like Barem does. Confused and jumbled as the recognition comes, anyway. It's natural, now, the gaps where he knows stories of him being a good soldier should be. He remembers the jungles, he remembers the fire, and can't put his finger on anything else.
On a cold December night, someone steps through his door and reminds him good soldiers are still in high demand. Ones who enjoyed the good work they did, most of all.
Or: Flamethrower, Control, and the necessity of righteous work.

Summary
To Yuuta, the concept of Rika Orimoto as a person was something almost inseparable from himself. It was like thinking of fire without the heat, or the sun not rising in the east each morning. Something simple and intrinsic, the whole of her intertwined into the whole of him so deeply that he hadn't imagined a day without her there since he'd been five and sitting in that hospital room where they met.
Everything about her was natural, the feel of her presence wherever he went being so familiar he could've been born knowing it. The car crash just made it a more constant sort of thing.
Or: Yuuta Okkotsu, Rika Orimoto, and moments found in five years of haunted living.
