Hikaku lands at Madara’s side as the clone unrolls the scroll, his chakra observant and sharp.
“This is written in hiragana,” the clone states.
“Hashirama hadn’t learned kanji yet when he gave it to me,” Madara counters, chakra simmering with watchfulness and lethal danger that is banked but only just.
“What does it say?” Tobirama inquires, dreading the careless words that his beloved older brother must have chosen when composing the scroll as a child.
“Madara, come visit whenever you want,” Madara says.

Summary
It wasn't that he set out thinking he was any more special than the next person, he just thought that maybe this was the *one* thing he could have control over—himself and his relationships.
Zanka was a well adjusted and upstanding guy, he was known for his astute senses and being a reliable giver in the eyes of Enjin. He was an alpha, but that didn't mean he was prone to flying off the handle, nope.
Of course, that was before he met the little asshole that Enjin took in, and to make matters worse? There was a raider with a tantilizi- putrid, he was going to say putrid! scent running around causing havoc on his instincts. Now Zanka didn't know what to think anymore but one thing was for sure.
He isn't going to let his alpha win.
