Summary
I briefly consider heading back to the loft, where at least there is a willing ass waiting for me. Then I remember that said ass comes with a gym bag full of clothes from The Gap, a well-worn copy of The Yellow Submarine, and an essay on The Great Gatsby due in two days.

Summary
But she’s not an imbecile like Craig, and she knows that if she pushes Justin, if she tries to force him to come home, that she’ll lose him forever. So she has to accept Brian for now, or at least pretend to accept him.
Brian makes that very difficult, however.
“He’s not my responsibility,” Brian snaps, when Jennifer hands over Justin’s things.
Jennifer sees red. “Oh yes he is! You seduced him, you fucked him, so now he’s yours.”
Brian looks away, his jaw clenched, and Jennifer gives him a look of deepest loathing before she storms out of his office again. She can’t stand to be here a moment longer.

Summary
Moira Williams is the friend of Daphne with whom Justin tells Brian he's going to stay when he moves to NYC. She's less than thrilled that she'll be sharing her small apartment with someone, especially an artist with a moody, unpredictable older boyfriend. But proximity breeds familiarity which in turns breeds affection (that is, if we're lucky). Moira finds herself rooting for a relationship she first believed was (and should be) doomed - the big question is whether cheering Justin and Brian on is enough to keep them together.
