Summary
At the height of his seventeen years, experiencing the pressures of the university entrance exam at an all-boys school, Yeon Si-eun is the only one in his class who has yet to manifest his sub-gender. Focused and impassive, he has no problem with that, despite some inconveniences. His classmates, however, especially Jeon Young-bin, seem determined to tease and pressure him in the cruelest way possible. These circumstances lead him to develop a strange relationship with Ahn Soo-ho, some kind of anti-hero at his school, who fascinates him as much as he irritates him. When the two of them are forced to coexist beyond the confines of the classroom, Si-eun begins to realize that his sub-gender may be more significant than he thinks — and so are his feelings.
Or: In which Soo-ho, an alpha, starts courting Si-eun, an omega, by accident. Everyone notices — except for them.

Summary
The voice's owner is a young man, maybe a handful of years younger than Erik, with the earnest expression worn by a boy who's never grown up. He's very correctly academic in a dark waistcoat and collared shirt, although the collar is very incorrectly unbuttoned to display a hint of throat – enough, Erik decides, to want to lick. [Or, the one inspired by this moment-inducing gifset, where for some reason Erik's decided to work for the CIA as a means to an end and gets sent to England instead of Moira.]

Summary
When Charles Xavier was five years old, he worshiped his father. When he was eleven, he learned to loathe his abusive stepfather. When he was sixteen, he gave up any claim on the family fortune just to escape. At twenty-four, he's moved away from home into a crappy, standard-issue graduate student house, and gone through his degree program with his best friend, Moira, by his side.
He's adjusted. He knows who he is and where he comes from and what his future holds. At least, until a stranger in a bathrobe shows up in his living room, having used his shower, eaten his lunch and, oh yes, broken in uninvited. Suddenly, everything Charles knows to be true about himself may turn out to be wrong, and his future and past both may be more dangerous than he ever could have imagined.

Summary
Fourteen cities half as many days, and the shooting pain behind Charles’s eye is constant now. After a few initial successes in recruiting more mutants for their team, he and Erik are now getting the proverbial door slammed in their faces, over and over.
Charles does not enjoy travel. Too many new minds every day, too many emotions pressing in around him, smothering his own thoughts, and he feels like the little Dutch boy with his finger in the dyke. If he abandons his post, the flood of psychic energy would come bursting through his skull, and he would drown. Or go mad.
Or both.

The montage of Charles & Erik recruiting mutants bringing 'couple searching for a third in their marriage' energy and honestly their whole dynamic in that movie lives eternally rent free in my head. In my mind this happens directly after Hugh jackman's amazing Cameo in first class.
