"The ground shook violently, cracks appearing in the ground. Trees fell, and plants wilted. Spirits ran into their caves, or ran wildly, seeking safety. Houses collapsed, one even falling right as a woman and her child ran out. All five of the Daemos’ heads whipped over to one of the floating islands, watching as it crumbled into pieces and dropped. Daemos was falling. The magic crisis hadn’t been prevented. Their only home was dying."
In this AU, the Daemos never go to Earth and meet Ava. However, they are forced to escape to Earth when their only home begins collapsing into the Eternal Void. There is no hope, for once.
They mourn each other, what was, and prepare for what's to be.
