Summary
Werewolves are blacklisted due to their feral and violent nature, seen as little more than maggots infesting a corpse. Werewolves are often lobotomized because of this aggression. Johnny, a werewolf, knows better than this of course. Only the bare minority turn into mindless slaves that hunt for the sake of bloodlust. And it's this minority that keeps the rest of his species chained. He keeps his monster blood hidden from the 141, erasing that part of him from military and health files, knowing full well he’ll be either shot in the head for it or discharged and lobotomized. He’d rather take the latter.
Johnny keeps himself well hidden, planning out his leave at the beginning of each month, and what 'trick' he'll use to take it. After all, taking a 'sick' leave once a month becomes suspicious, and he doesn't want a single soul to uncover what he truly is. But for now, he'll keep with the lie that he's a regular human, a rarity within the monster world.
Unfortunately things take a turn for the worst when he meets a local at a bar.
