With the divorce going through, Leia’s monthly income was severely less than it had been before...and with Han still fighting to pay any alimony or child support, she was positive that she wouldn’t be able to afford their house. So, downsizing was the only option.
In the aftermath of a sticky divorce, Leia finds herself at a crossroads. Being newly single in your 30s is hard, but especially with three children and a deadbeat ex-husband. This story we will watch as Leia navigates her new reality.
This is not one of my normal fics and is a much more personal story. Heartache and loneliness aren't the focus; rather, they are the beginning of Leia's real happily ever after.

“Hmm,” Din hummed, his lips still pressing into Luke’s skin. “Miss me, baby?”

“No...my...” Leia inhaled sharply and closed her eyes. Luke held her hand as she squeezed through the contraction. Once the pressure of her hand ebbed slightly, she looked up at him. “My water just broke.”

Boba regarded him silently for a moment before standing up, walking to the fridge and pulling out two beers. He handed one to Din before he sat down, large eyes staring at him. “When the Brothers of the Sea Clan asked me to take you in,” he started, breaking eye contact to glance down at his drink. “I assumed that there was some sort of important reason.” Boba sighed and took a sip before continuing. “I didn’t know you were in love, Din.”
Din stared down at his beer, unwilling to raise his eyes. If his Clan council got wind of this, his visits to the island would be stopped immediately, Din knew this. He had no idea how Boba would react or what he would do. “Does that change anything, Boba?”
Boba sighed again, lifting his eyes just as Din looked up. “No, brother. It doesn’t. But I’m going to need the full story.”

Summary
Luke realizes in about a second that he has a weakness, and it’s guys with kids. More specifically, hot dads who, by all accounts, look like they can rip off your head if you so much as look at them the wrong way, but who turn into a soft mush whenever their kid is around. And Din, sporting a black leather jacket and a whipped cream mustache at the same time, definitely fits the bill.
Din Djarin is about to give up on finding a good babysitter for his adopted son, Grogu. He thinks it'll be impossible to find someone who can respond to Grogu's needs without hurting his kid even more than he's already been hurt. Enter Luke Skywalker, who not only seems to be perfect at handling Grogu's unique characteristics, but he might also be a perfect match for his father as well.
