“He cannot be serious,” Ichigo grumbled as he rubbed his eyes. “It's Christmas.”
Grimmjow wasn’t on his way to demand a fight, right? Right. That would be absurd. Ichigo’s pretty sure Urahara would've told Grimmjow he's sick anyways.
Maybe he was just wandering around, Ichigo hoped for a minute, but before he knew it Grimmjow was phasing through his window, looking around like a wild animal.
“Grimmjow, if you're looking for–”
Ichigo didn’t even get to finish his sentence before Grimmjow was grabbing his head, tilting it around from side to side. The redhead let out a confused noise. He couldn’t see Grimmjow’s expression, not in the dark, so he tried to reach for his bedside lamp blindly.
“What’s going on?” Ichigo rasped. Oh God, he could feel a coughing fit building up.
Grimmjow only looked at Ichigo for a few more seconds before letting go.
“Kisuke said you were dying.”
