A few beats of silence pass. Rody doesn't know if Vince is expecting him to say something stupid again to mock dryly. He doesn't know where they'd cook and too timid to suggest either of their apartments. At Vince's? Nah. Too much fancy stuff in there; way too expensive to waste on Rody's shoddy culinary skills. At his own place would probably be worse. Vince would see not only Rody's terrible sense of interior design (not worse than the chef's, at least) but also the uneaten dishes he has sitting in his fridge.
