"Oh, it's generous of you to offer, good doctor, but I couldn't allow you to take notes for me," he said smoothly. "At least not for free," Elliott continued before Harvey could speak again. "Now I'm not a man of immense fortune, but surely you'll agree that I should at least procure a meal for you in compensation for your assistance."

One day you're wearing a t-shirt while your best friend drags you to yet another beach party, the next you notice the leaves are falling, and a faint scent of cinnamon lingers in the air whenever you pass the Saloon. For Sebastian, falling in love was like that: one day he and Sam were playing video games in his basement bedroom, the next, the sparkle in Sam's eyes when he won the latest round of Plumber Kart made his heart skip a beat.
