Summary
Orym isn’t exactly known for being a heavy sleeper. Being one of the protectors of the Tempest taught him to sleep light and be prepared for anything to make sure that she stays safe. Even now after leaving her service, he can’t seem to fall asleep and stay asleep for more than a few hours at a time, and the little sleep he does get is light. Visions of the past, the people he failed, the moment when his life changed forever; they only seem to haunt him at night when he tries to shut his eyes. So what’s one Genasi to do when they hear the staunch protector whispering their name among other cared for ones as he sweats out a fever?
