Summary
Pix is, naturally, as a historian, very interested in what happened before the Great Grimlands Explosion. Most historians agree that any and all records around that time have been obliterated to dust, causing the general public to not know a single thing about the empires that existed thousand years ago. Historians literally know more about the start of the world more than what happened thousand years ago, which is slightly embarassing. Pix is on his way to stop that.

Summary
Around the Captain’s waist is a coat Ren knows very well.
Ren never did recover his Hand’s body. It was taken by the pirates who killed him. Pirates like the Captain, who now wears the coat like a twisted trophy.
This is the man who killed Martyn.
Ren is so beyond the point of being afraid for his worthless, meaningless life. If he can make the Captain bleed for what he's done, then it will all have been worth it.

Jimmy didn't really know what to think of some of the other Empires, especially when he hadn't visited them. So, when Sausage said he should go and see what Chromia had to offer, he didn't see a problem with it.
He didn't see what happened as a problem still... but now he wondered if he'd been tricked.
