She presses her mouth against his lips only to pull away quickly. A sudden shock leaves her tongue stinging oddly. Her fingers find her tongue but it doesn’t hum against her skin like it usually does. With an eery suspicion Cantarella places a hand against the man’s mouth, thumb pressing on his chin and opening his mouth.
He has her mark on his tongue.Cantarella saved this drowning captain and he has the audacity to steal her tacet mark, the very least he can do is let her borrow his tongue so she can access her resonance.
