An amazing series about Percy having to hide his Big Three heritage to avoid being executed on sight because of the Great Prophecy (and other reasons to be revealed...). Beautiful characterization, motives, fleshed-out background characters, and sweet, sweet satisfaction by the end of the first book.

A beautiful story about redemption and humanity, the authors use breathtaking imagery and metaphors to paint the emotions of each character. The contrast between the two worlds is wonderfully described, and its message of hope can be felt throughout the story.
