It was the middle of a quiet night and John was asleep, alone in his bed, when his throat was slit. He was dead before he'd even properly started to choke on the blood.
The most shocking part was when he woke up. He gasped, lurching up and pawing at his own throat. The skin was unmarred. The cut had closed, not even leaving a scar behind.
His killer was still in the room. In one swift movement, John impaled them through the chest and pushed them until their back met the wall.
John's eyes had adapted to the darkness, and in the faint moonlight that filled the room, John saw him: a young man, with a lithe build and long-ish, wavy hair. The man did not try to reach for any weapon nor free himself from John's sword. Instead, bewildered and stunned, the stranger said, incomprehensibly, “You're like us?”
The Old Guard AU. When John discovers he's immortal, his life changes entirely. For better or worse.

There’s a flush in Touya’s cheeks that gets progressively redder the longer he’s subjected to Keigo’s touch and heavy gaze. Touya bites his lip and Keigo’s hand is attracted to it like a magnet, though he still takes his time, touching as much skin as he can on the way: his stomach, jumping slightly when Keigo brushes his talons against it; the dip under his pectoral; his collarbone; his throat, and when Keigo wraps his hand around it he feels Touya’s Adam’s apple as he swallows.
Keigo and Touya have been meeting for a while, at first just for business as Keigo was his new tattoo artist, then because they'd become friends, but it seems that one late night visit might make their relationship tip into something more.

Summary
As the next race starts, the cameras switch their focus to other skaters, and Dabi and Hawks disappear through the crowd. Shigaraki, figuring Dabi’s found a quiet corner to smoke or unwind, looks for him. The League of Villains (as they've baptized their skateboarding crew) is Dabi's ride home, after all.
He finds him a small walk away from the track, into the wooded area surrounding it. Dabi’s board is abandoned on the ground, with... is that Hawks’ board? And here he- Shigaraki freezes. Dabi and Hawks are ridiculously close, with Dabi having Hawks pressed against a tree. Dabi whispers something that makes Hawks blush and chuckle slightly, and then starts kissing him. Judging by the way Hawks just holds onto his shirt and pulls him closer, kissing him back, this is not an unusual occurrence.
3 times someone catches rival skaters Touya and Keigo together and discovers they're dating, and 1 time people see them together after they've stopped bothering to hide their relationship.

Dabi appears, exiting one of Kurogiri’s portals, and Hawks perks up, grinning. Shaking off his exhaustion, he recalls his feathers, one of which ends up incinerated when it flies too close to Dabi. “Light of my life,” Hawks greets him as the blue fire recedes. He’d been aiming for sarcasm, but it ends up sounding more genuine than he’d like.
Dabi rolls his eyes. “Birdbrain.” It’s almost affectionate.
Hawks was already thinking he was getting too attached to Dabi, when he realizes that his sister, whom he hasn't seen since they were children, is Toga Himiko.
The more time he spends with the League, the more his mask slips, and Hawks finds himself reevaluating his loyalty.

Heechul suddenly stops in his tracks. He wasn't expecting to see anyone he knew. "Park Jungsoo!" he calls out, half in surprise, half in delight. It's been a long time since they've seen each other, years. A decade or two.
The man sitting at the bar startles and pivots on his seat. It really is Park Jungsoo. Heechul remembers a version of him that's older, certainly (a face with more wrinkles, a back less straight...) but not so different, especially as Jungsoo isn't one of the people who chose to go back to what they looked like at 18 or 20. It's hard to say exactly, but Heechul would place him between 30 and 40. "Kim Heechul," Jungsoo finally answers, sounding just as surprised. Heechul pouts at the time it took - he'd have hoped he was more memorable.
Jungsoo and Heechul reunite by chance in San Junipero. Maybe it's the start of something good.

"I was never lonely," Yugyeom replied. He moved, in a gesture in between crossing his arms and hugging himself. His gaze was on the water and the horizon. Bambam wondered if Yugyeom missed it, being a part of a whole, in the stillness of a body that could not move, could only grow. "I was also a bird, once."
Immediately, Bambam sighed in envy, making Yugyeom smile. "Lucky. I wish I knew what flying was like."
"It wasn't only nice, though," Yugyeom said. His smile turned mischievous. "A cat almost caught and ate me, once."
"I would never eat you!" Bambam said, affronted - which, kind of a lie. He had eaten some birds in some lives during which he was a cat.

Changkyun can see the precise instant that Hyungwon realizes he's hurt, because he loses all hints of playfulness. He kneels down, carefully pushing open the lapel of Changkyun's jacket. He pales when he sees the blood staining Changkyun's hand from where he was pressing it against the stab wound.

Jackson hears Coco's claws on the pavement and spots her small form in the corner of his vision. He turns in his seat, whistles, and calls out an enthusiastic "Hey, princess!". His eyes are fixed on Coco, and he waits, except that instead of coming closer, Youngjae has stopped. Jackson frowns and looks up at hi- Oh shit. Oh shit. At his side, Jaebeom starts laughing (at him, clearly), but Jackson, paling, ignores him.
This isn't Youngjae.
It's a stranger, who looks, it's important to note, extremely offended. And who's also pretty as hell. Is this Mark? Why did Youngjae never tell him Mark was this pretty? And seriously, why is Jackson's luck this awful? Couldn't he and Mark have gotten introduced in a normal way? -

“… Gyeom?” the stranger said, voice small.
Except he wasn’t a stranger at all, because Yugyeom would recognize this voice anywhere. He had dreamt about this, and yet stopped believing it could ever come true… His heart started racing. Changkyun dismounted, giving the reigns of his horse to a stablehand before offering his hand to Bambam to help him down.
Yugyeom hasn't seen Bambam since the Outbreak - he doesn't even know if the other is alive. But it seems Fate saw fit to bring them back to each other.

Yugyeom laid his hand on the console, accessing the controls of the theatre. He lowered the lights to their right setting. “I’m Yugyeom,” he whispered to Mark, just before he started the music. And then, on the stage, Bambam started dancing.
The dance’s first purpose was to arouse, this much was obvious. But as Bambam moved, on the pole and around it, following the rhythm, there was something to the dance, something that Yugyeom couldn’t define. Something he saw in Bambam that he hadn’t observed in other dancers, in other androids. He almost forgot to change the light at the right time. As Bambam’s fingers went to unbutton the first button of his shirt, he looked out at the empty theatre as if it was crowded, looking like he owned the place, and, accidentally or not, their eyes met. Yugyeom froze. Bambam looked… alive.
Yugyeom had kept convincing himself that he hadn’t found something worth deviating for. But maybe, what he had needed was to find someone it’d be worth it for…

Mark was sitting up in his bed, legs folded up, with his arms around his knees and his face hidden in his arms. He looked even tinier than usual. Youngjae put down his glass of water on the nightstand. “Hyung,” he called out again as he sat on the edge of the bed. “Nightmare ?” he asked.
Mark freed one of his arms and used it to tug lightly on Youngjae’s wrist before resuming his original position. Youngjae took it for the invitation it was and hugged his side, starting to rub his back. “Yes,” Mark finally answered, voice muffled.
