“A good one?” Jason asked. He sat straighter, so Bruce could reach the wound on his hip, and Dick readjusted.
“Let's say all your pit stuff is starting to wear off. But you were tossed in there because your brain was, as you so eloquently put it, leaking into the back of your throat.”
Bruce glanced up at Jason and swallowed hard.Roy's mouth was firm under his domino. “So does this stop at some point, or are you going to regress right back to zombie boy?”
Jason shrugged and Bruce grunted in annoyance.
“So you could just wake up brain-dead sometime in the near future?”
