Summary
Everybody wants a family. Whether it be a want seeded from the warm clasp of youth or a wretched winter flower that grew in spite of it, it was hard to escape the idea. For people in Angus MacGyver's position, however, that's a bad idea. Every day, a new set of people threatened both his and his friends lives, not to mention the hectic working hour. But that didn't take away the want.
Luckily, he loves bad ideas.
Except, this- this handsome faced, wild eyed beast of a man who wanted to see Mac bloodied and cooling- might be his best idea yet. At least, that's what his subconscious thinks, and the more they interact, the more Mac agrees. Now, all he has to do it convince him of that.

Summary
The second he walked through the club doors some indeterminable amount of time ago, he felt the knife of Murdoc's gaze lodge between his ribs. He ignored it at first, finding a spot by the bar to linger with Murdoc in the corner of his vision. A month passed since the footage of him kept Mac up at night, since a seed of inky darkness planted in his mind and unfurled into a fledgling obsession. His brain spent every spare moment reanalyzing Murdoc's movements as well as seeking out new parcels of information wherever they hid. He thought this obsession would end up like all the others he cultivated for people: shriveled from lack of nutrients. Then, the night he came back from his latest mission, a card laid atop his pillows, listing a date, time, and place. Mac didn't need the beautifully scrawled 'Murdoc' at the bottom to know who sent it. (It smelled like gun residue.)
That was two nights ago.

After many nights spent with nothing but a video of Murdoc on a killing spree and his own hands, Mac finally meets up with the man sworn to kill him. And it's nothing like any of their other encounters.
