    Summary

During his brief stint as a prisoner of the Order, Draco Malfoy notices that Hermione doesn't look to be doing too well. He had always assumed that, given her brilliant mind and gentle nature, those on her side would ensure she is taken care of. Evidently not. Must he really do everything himself?

    -

OR: Dark Draco decides he'd rather like to keep the pretty Healer for himself, since it seems no one else can take proper care of her.

    Summary

“Mother... if I were... In the event that one found oneself... shall we say interested in interacting with someone who was not normally included in our social circles, would that... would one find oneself quite dismissed from the family, do you suppose?”

The first wizarding war didn't end. It just changed tactics.

Hidden in bureaucracy, buried in laws, and baked into bloodlines, wizarding society is still divided into those who belong, and those who don't. But Hermione Granger has never backed down from a challenge, and she's never wanted anything more than to belong.

Not every war is fought with battles and curses. Some are fought with hushed conversations, careful compromises, and a revolution that begins in a library.

    Bookmarker's Notes

I can't believe I just read 150k in three business days and I just want more!!
This is a reddit found and I'm so glad I gave it a chance. Consistent characters, good storyline progression and oh, how I love the depths the author goes about Wizard society political intrigue and how it unfolds and affects our main characters!! Everyone has an agenda, even if they can't open their eyes to it and face their privilege.
But I do love how when it comes to the Malfoys' their not shy about who they are, their place in the(ir) world and how to make it tick to their own tune and priorities.

    I need more of this!!

Allies and enemies both come from unexpected places -- the international quidditch star, the power aristocrat, the motley crew of muggleborn students, her two best friends -- as Hermione begins the slow, methodical work of dismantling a world that wants nothing more than to erase her.

    Summary

Draco Malfoy has never been redeemed. He’s simply been patient.

Hermione Granger ruined his chances of being the top of their class, outshone him at every turn, and then—like the perfect, insufferable angel she was—saved his family from Azkaban. She was a Mudblood, and she was better than him. That contradiction marked him forever.

For the past seven years, he has played the long game. He became respectable in her eyes, carved out a role for himself at the DMLE, and slowly, carefully, made himself indispensable. He became her confidant, her best friend. He cultivated every part of their friendship—curated what she needed, what she liked, what she deserved.

Because Hermione is exceptional. She’s brilliant, sharp, devastatingly capable. And no one around her—not her fiancé, not her friends—ever made her feel like she was more than a burden to forgive or a standard to resent.

Draco doesn’t just see her. He feeds the pride she’s always been told to swallow. And he’ll do whatever it takes to bring her into the world where she belongs—his world.

    Because she deserves better.

    And she deserves him.

    Summary

When Jimin returns to his mother’s hometown, the forests seem to whisper his name. But something lurks beneath the town’s surface—something that watches him, waits for him.
Little did he know, when he had crossed paths with a wounded wolf, the delicate threads of his reality had begun to unravel.

    OR

Jimin exhales sharply, the cold night air burning in his lungs.

"You're not afraid," Jungkook murmurs, tilting his head slightly. His crimson eyes gleam in the darkness, assessing. Waiting for Jimin to flinch.

Jimin should. Every instinct tells him to. But he doesn’t.

Instead, he holds Jungkook’s gaze, something raw twisting in his chest. "Should I be?"

Jungkook steps closer, slow and deliberate, like testing a fragile thread between them. "Most people would be."

    "I'm not most people."

A beat of silence. Then, something shifts in Jungkook’s expression—so brief Jimin almost misses it. Amusement? Curiosity? Or something deeper, something neither of them is ready to name.

Jimin swallows, pulse hammering. He should step back. He doesn't.

Jungkook exhales a quiet laugh, barely a breath. "No. I don’t think you are."
