Summary
At the start of the school year, every first year at UA takes a test written by Principal Nezu himself. This test is designed not only to test one's academic performance, but their will to keep going in the face of impossible odds. This test, dubbed the Hell Test by students and faculty alike, is grueling for grown adults with months to study, so doing well on it as a first year with no prep time is nigh impossible.
So why is Midoriya flying through it as if it's nothing?

Midoriya Izuku knows how to walk the delicate line between doing so poorly that his teachers publicly humiliate him and doing so well that he gets dragged into the principal's office and accused of cheating. He's been walking it since he was four, after all.
But things are different at UA, and he miscalculates. Badly. And more than one secret is revealed as a result.

Eraserhead was known as one of the most-wanted villains in all of Japan, alongside Present Mic and Loud Cloud. He had a mean streak for taking down those undeserving of the name hero, and has an obsession for those he loves. So when he stumbles across a startlingly brilliant child who is unafraid to speak back to him and displays signs of obvious mistreatment, who is he not to follow and try to help, as strange and obsessive as his ways may be?

Summary
“Just lay back and bite this, OK?” Shouta nods, looking at the kid in front of him. Now, through half-lidded eyes, he can distinctly make out his features. Biting the Recovery Girl rag, he observes. Freckles, green hair, matching green eyes. Although if you look closer, one of his eyes has an almost darker hue to it, as if he's wearing contacts in one eye.
However, something else catches his attention. Not a part of the young boy's body, but an accessory. There, crushed between green curls, a golden, butterfly hair clip is mushed in-between.
“Sorry, this is going to hurt. Bite the rag if it gets bad.” The butterfly boy apologizes, and although kind-toned, he doesn't sound like he means it. He reaches into his belt again, this time successfully grabbing a knife on his first try.
Also Recovery Girl themed.
For a second, Shouta thinks he's going to use it to cut the half-assed attempt Shouta himself gave to bandage his leg. Get a better look at the injury, right?
Oh, how wrong he is.
And before Shouta can blink, the kid stabs him.

Izuku Midoriya has ‘Thou Shall Not Die’, and is desperately trying to get away from Mori.

Outside his window, the city hummed with the quiet energy of a world where heroes and villains played their eternal game of cat and mouse, each side believing they understood the rules while missing the larger patterns that connected their battles into something vast and complex and beautiful.
Somewhere in that complexity, Izuku was beginning to suspect, lay the answer to questions no one else was asking. But, then again, in the morning, his real work would begin. Tonight, all he did was close the notebook and go to sleep. A researcher needs it, after all.

Or: how a teenager with notebooks full of ignored insights accidentally revolutionized hero work by asking the questions no one else wanted to hear, while accidentally acquiring a collection of professionals who decided he was worth listening to.
