Summary
Klaus stares in shock; the same Harold that laughed at his lame jokes and blushed when Klaus winked at him, was dimed in an orange jumpsuit. A branded criminal.
“Harold?” Klaus stands up, bracing against the wall and Ben gives out a noise of confusion, “What the fuck you doing ‘ere?”
“Just,” Harold waves around a hand, dismissive and sets down the clothes, before clambering onto his bed, “This and that.” Klaus narrows his eyes and looks around Harold, eyes widening when he sees an old man with his head bashed in. His head was dribbling down with blood and his eye socket were concave. The ghost was trying to shout at Harold but his breath would catch in a horrible wheeze as he tries to sputter out the blood from his wound. Klaus drew in a shaky breath.
“Murder?” Harold looks up, jolting back before nodding, slowly.

Grace opened the door, with a serene smile, tutting at the blood that streamed down Ben’s clothes. The children shuffled in and sat down. Ben smiled at Vanya, who shrunk back slightly in her seat, fingering the strap of her binoculars, before smiling back. They refrained from talking as Reginald hated hearing anything but a battle report, but the children still sent each other concerned glances and looks that sent the message.
Ben leaned back, counting.

Summary
Spiderman observed a man with a metal arm tucked into an alleyway shedding his weird combat gear for newly stolen clothes. It was a scene the spider was all too familiar with, only he hadn’t swiped civilian clothes from the local vendors. Spiderman, the responsible fourteen year old he is, normally has a backpack with a change of clothes webbed up a wall. Sometimes.
“Do you got a receipt for those, buddy?” He shouted from the rooftop ledge.
Or: Peter Parker slowly moves into Bucky’s “temporary” apartment until it becomes a home.
(Note: “A little bit of this! A little bit of that!” ahh first few chapters. They’re so rough, idk what I was on. The later chapters are better I promise.)

Summary
The untold stories get buried in a grave of secrecy and illness. Nevertheless, trauma and violence demand attention. Murder will out. Atrocities emerge, if not symbolically, if not through language, as illusions, fantasies and ghosts.
Bucky recognized he was fucked in the head. A broken skull and electricity often resulted in brain damage. He relearned how to walk and speak. He kept his name written on a piece of paper to carry around. He holed himself up in his room for days and yelled at anyone who crossed ways with him. Steve was convinced it was all part of the onerous path of recovery.
Until Bucky started going psychotic.

Peter wished he could say that it was. Let his dad keep thinking that he was the nice little boy who never did anything bad, except for the times he was forced to. But he was bad now, and that realization caused a lump to grow in his throat.
“There’s something wrong with me,” Peter gasped.

It had been years since they were rescued. Peter grew older, became thin, sad, and violent. But violence was good. Violence maintained order. Order prevented chaos. Chaos had no purpose, unlike Peter, whose purpose, like violence, maintained order. And some people have to die to preserve that order. Dying is just their purpose. Peter was choosing to fulfill his.
