Ranpo? He reads the two of them like the pages of a well-worn novel. He’s open, not hiding a single secret—transparency comes easy when the world feels like a riddle already solved. Poe, on the other hand, keeps secrets for two reasons: either he simply forgets to share them, or he doesn't want to burden his partners with the weight of his worries.
And then there’s Dazai, ever the enigma. His walls are firmly in place, even when it’s just them. He’s trying, though. Slowly, deliberately, he's working on lowering them. Despite it all, Dazai reads Poe effortlessly, as if the man's secrets were written in invisible ink only he can see.
