A prim and proper masked gentleman stood on the brightly lit stage, shoulders squared and a fake smile etched on his face. The man motioned towards the audience, all dressed to the nines for this yearly resplendent event--a gathering of the elites adorned with jewelry and accessories worth millions. Each member of the audience wore a mask, but not for no reason: This was an invitation-only black market auction with illicit goods so rare--so sought-after--that even the government would not fathom their existence.

Anaxa closed his eyes as he laid his open palm on the window. "Where are you?" He repeated. Suddenly, the lights inside his room flickered. And when he opened his eyes, he saw him. Shocked golden eyes looking back at him.
"Phainon," he whispered as if he would scare the man at the other side of the window away. But he wasn't. He put his hand over Anaxa's at the other side of the glass. The latter couldn't keep his eyes away from the other. He read Phainon's lips: found you.
He was different, but there was no doubt that he was his Phainon.

“Do you want to try?”
Phainon raised his head and looked straight into Anaxa's eyes. Only in that moment did Anaxa realize that the thing that had made him weak from the beginning to the end was always those clear eyes. The thing that made him unconsciously trust and put his life in the hands of a stranger.
It's instinct, it's hunch, it's destiny..
“Try… what?” Phainon asked hesitantly, and then Anaxa answered.
“Try to awaken those memories by telling me your stories. If within a month you cannot find the Anaxa you desire for, then it is time for you and others to move on without him in this life.”

Anaxa found a stranger in front of his door who claim to know his 'Past life'... Maybe it's a new winds that blow into his boring and unchanging life rather than a scam. That whenever Anaxa ever looked back to that day when he allowed a stranger into his house after less than an hour, he might be laughing. But that is clearly the best choice he has ever made in this entire monotonous life.Series
