Summary
They've switched places, he realizes. Now Oikawa's the one looking in.
(Tooru watches Tobio. Kageyama has always wanted a teacher, and now he has too many to count. Oikawa is not one of them.)
Now with a translation in Russian! Link is in notes for anyone interested.

INCREDIBLEEEE
"Oikawa wins the match. He has the adoring reverence of thousands of fans, all of them screaming for his attention. There are always eyes on him. But he no longer feels a gaze on his back, no longer spots the shine of admiration in gunmetal blue, and knows that the bitter taste in his mouth is loss."

Summary
when oikawa tooru tries to define himself, the only word he can come up with these days is "salaryman." and he’s fine with that. really. at his grand age of 28, a stable job that puts money towards his savings is as much as he can ask for.
he doesn’t need anything more, and he definitely doesn’t need to think about what else he could’ve been. after all, it doesn’t help much.
...
but maybe he needed this, needed someone to look at him with stars in their eyes, just once, just one more time.
[or, nobody-anymore oikawa tooru meets international-superstar kageyama tobio out of chance. he tries (and fails) to not let his own pride get in the way.]

Summary
His worries were put off by a robotic voice. Kageyama didn’t answer. Oikawa felt slightly relieved. He had hoped till the last moment Kageyama would pick up, but it’s not like he had anything to talk about, so it was fine. Yeah, it was better this way.
…leave a message after the beep.
Beep.
Or, where a drunk Oikawa decides that 3 AM is the perfect time for a love confession.

Summary
Kageyama hates it. He hates how his mother always fusses and brushes his hair and buys those god-awful dresses for him all the time. He hates the ponytails, he hates the pink accessories and he hates being called a girl.
He’s not.
Won't someone listen?

Summary
Kageyama, probably irritated by the stretched silence, blinked his eyes open. The curtains of his long lashes parted revealing the deep blues and Atsumu’s heart stuttered. Those eyes . . . they always sucked him right in; the color reminding him of oceans, vast and bottomless like Atsumu had seen on TV. He’d always dreamed of diving into their deepest parts, unearthing mysteries and all the hidden secrets. Just like he wanted to drown himself in those cobalt blue eyes, so he could learn everything there was to know about Kageyama.
“What is it? Everything okay?”
Atsumu swallowed hard, trying to shake himself from the sudden dizziness. “Tobio, has anyone ever told ya that yer eyes look pretty in sunlight?”
